funding

How is CCC funded? All the lower levels are performed by volunteers and non-profits. Why is a for-profit company, Zone4, the only interface with CCC? Interesting how they suddenly made it difficult to enter members manually this year and avoid their fees... The first two items are factual and should be referenced.
